2022 was a huge year for Mobile Outfitters, and we can’t thank you enough for being the most important part of it! In a year of change and uncertainty, we added 225 new locations and ended the year with 917 locations operating in 57 countries. Plus, we welcomed new partners to our global family in Greece, Libya, Mauritius, Nigeria, and Norway.

More important than this amazing growth is how far we’ve come as a team, a brand, and a culture. We grew our team to 31 people while doubling the base pay for entry-level positions. We continued to offer healthcare benefits covering 93% of the cost, even for part-time employees.
We implemented a “work where you are most effective” policy and evolved our culture to adapt to team members working remotely. We run on the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) in every department at every level and conduct quarterly conversations with everyone at the company to understand what’s working and what’s not. We learned how to shoot bullets, not cannonballs (thanks, Jim Collins!).
We set ourselves on a path to achieve B Corp status in the near future – an accomplishment less than 6,000 companies have ever achieved. With only 19 points on our B Corp assessment in 2015, we’ve grown to 54 points and are committed to crossing the 80-point threshold to receive B Corp Certification.
Giving back to our community is important to all of us at Mobile Outfitters. This year, our staff donated 213 pounds of toys and supplies (plus adopted one kitten!) to Providence Animal Shelter; provided much-needed support to North Light Community Center by cleaning, painting, and organizing their facility; and saved 300 pounds of fabric from going to a landfill by volunteering at FABSCRAP.
Thousands of years ago, humans figured out a simple yet powerful principle: If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together. 2023, here we come – together and stronger than ever.
